Last weekend, after a stressful week of being cooped up with a sick baby, we needed to get out. So, we woke up Saturday morning and headed to Memphis for the day. When we arrived, we enjoyed brunch at Memphis' oldest restaurant, Arcade. Afterwards, we strolled around downtown stopping in several shops and stumbling upon the farmer's market, but the main attraction was the Memphis Zoo. Elliott enjoyed riding in the stroller, watching all of the people and animals, especially a pair of monkeys who were putting on a show in the windows at the grill. But, one of my favorite parts of the day was driving home singing Dashboard Confessional at the top of our lungs while Elliott slept in the back seat. Why did we ever think those guys were good?
