I'm a jewelry making fool.

I woke up this morning to a very pleasant 68 degrees! I celebrated the cooler weather with a 4 mile run at the LPOA lake. I'm training for the Soaring Wings Half Marathon in Conway in late October. My training has been slow due to the excessive heat and humidity. I'm looking forward to some more cooler temps this week, so I can finally push back up to 5 mile runs on the week days and long runs on Sundays.

After work, I came home and got busy making jewelry using some new finds from our Argenta Bead trip yesterday. I made 4 new necklaces. I always intend to take the jewelry I make to the salon to sell it, but it's always hard to part with my handiwork. There's just something special about searching for the right beads and hardware, purchasing them, and using them to create a piece of art. By the time the process is complete, I've formed a connection with my work and decide I just can't part with "this one".
Here's what I accomplished tonight:

I'm in a crafty mood, I guess. Good thing Thursday night is craft night with my co-workers!

I'm also obsessed with Diet Cherry Coke and David Bromstad's "Color Splash" on HGTV. Tonight I even indulged in both at the same time...
